A Day In The Life

Hey Friends! Happy Hump Day! How is your week going? Today I am sharing a day in the life post. I always enjoy these posts so I hope you do too. I’d love to hear how your day was?

3:00: Mason wakes up crying. I go in and resettle him. Five minutes later I am back in bed.

5:00: Alarm goes off

5:15: Showered and coffee is brewing

I take out the fur babies, get breakfast laid out, feed the fur babies and go back upstairs.

Coffee Is Life

5:25: Hugs for D and start getting ready

6:00: D leaves for work and I finish getting ready and finish our breakfast.

6:20: I wake Mason up. We cuddle, eat, get dressed, and head out the door at 7:00.

7:20: Mason is dropped off at daycare. He cries so I cry. Then finish my smoothie on the way to work. (I am loving this protein powder)

7:30: At work

8:30 I decide I need more coffee. Japanese vending machines are the best!

10:15: Snack break. I know I am going to the gym at lunch and will be eating my  actual lunch late. Pink lady apple and peanut butter.

11:30: Gym time. It’s rowing followed by weights today.

I really dislike this machine.

11:30: Back at work I have a customer waiting on me so I take care of them.

1:20: Lunch! I am starving!

Leftover steak, sautéed kale, and homemade plantain chips. It hits the spot.

1:40: it is back to work and counting down till go time.

4:30: On the dot…I am out the door.

4:37: I am home and greeted by the little man. I get hugs and kiss from him and D.

5:10: Little man is hangry so we eat.

Japanese sweet potato, more kale, shredded chicken, goat cheese, and hot sauce. It’s delicious I promise!

6:00: We’ve ate and cleaned up. Then head outside to play.

My sweetie!

He’s getting to be such a big boy.

7:00: After a bath we got Mason down for the night. He was tired.

7:30: I get the kitchen ready for the next morning and start on the blog and reply to some Beautycounter emails.

9:00: it’s lights down.

Question: Are you a morning person? Do you eat leftovers? Tell me about your week so far?

Don’t you feel like superwoman when you are in bed by 9? I do! ha ha your kiddos are adorable!

I’m usually a morning person and am super productive right away. And I’m so jealous of your potato combo. NONE of my local grocery stores have japanese sweet potatoes. I have to get them from a Whole Foods or TJ’s about 45 minutes away, so I don’t make that trip too often.

I’m jealous of your ‘regular’ sweet potatoes. We live in Japan so we just have the Japanese sweet potatoes and sometimes yams.

I love these kind of posts! I can do morning or nights, but I feel sharpest in the am, so I try to do any projects requiring a lot of thought early.
