Hello Friends! I am coming at ya with a quick recipe today. The title is no lie. It is the Best Mug Cake Recipe! If you are like me and are a bit picky about your mug cakes then this is the one for you. I have tried sooooo many and they all become flat or have a ton of calories but do not fill me up. I am not afraid of calories my no means, but if I am going to eat a 600 calorie breakfast I want to be full for at least a few hours. This one has moderate calories, packed with protein, and if you top it with an amazing nut butter then it is seriously a perfect balance!

Mug Cake Recipe
Mix all ingredients very well in a mug or other microwave safe bowl. Cook for 90 seconds or until fluffy and firm on top.
Then top with your favorite nut butter, chocolate, honey, or coconut flakes.

Some side notes: I used vanilla whey protein powder in the pictures above. While testing the recipe I also used the coffee protein powder I have blogged about before and it was delicious as well! I also used almond butter and chocolate chip cookie dough nut butter . Both were amazing! I always topped it off with cacao nibs.
