A Bit From Our Trip So Far……

I’ve miss you guys! Sooooo……I did not mean to disappear on you all! The internet has been done or too slow to load WordPress. Like I have not even been able to load Instagram stories, Facebook, or blackboard. The struggle has been real! I feel like I have so much to tell you guys! Stories are best told in pictures so here we go.

The struggle is real! The story of my life lately!

Now lets rewind back to the beach……

Ft Walton Beach

We were here with D.C.’s work. He had a conference at Ft. Walton so we decided to tag along. It was a great transition before heading home with to see the family. We got to rest and recovered from the 14 hour time difference and 16 hours of traveling. Mason slept 13 hours the first night and the following nights even slept till 8-9 a.m. a few times. It was strange because he is normally the kid that does not sleep past 6:30 a.m. We made it to the pool a few mornings before heading back to the room to make the men lunch and lay Mason down for his nap. The afternoons were spend hanging out with friends we have in the area and others that were their for the conference.

The child has is made. Watermelon and the pool….two of his favorites things all in one.

This boy slept in till 9 and was enjoying his late yogurt breakfast.

Wednesday D.C. had a half day of work so we got to have a day to sight see. Since Mason loves airplanes so much, D.C. wanted to take him to see the National Naval Aviation Museum. It was so neat to see all the airplanes and history. Mason loved it so much!

This boy is a jokester all the time!

Then is was worn out!

That afternoon I wanted to take Mason to the beach for the first time. He was not too sure about it. He looked at the sand that ‘what is this’. Then the water was a bet intimadating to him. He was a champ overall though.

It is fun after all!

Even though we had a few unexpected surprises on the trip it was a great way to relax and unwind before driving to our hometown to visit our friends and family. Hope you all have a great weekend!

It’s great you got to get over jet lag before being home. Trying to adjust from a large time difference and day of travel while visiting with people can be tough. I hope you have a great time in your hometown 🙂
