Friday Faves

Hey, Friend and Happy Friday to ya! Surprise another Friday Fave (have a ‘true’ surprise for ya’ll at the end of this post)! These are seriously some of my favorite posts to write and read all well. I love to see new products, ideas, books, and so on.

This week has seriously blown by! We have had an appointment or something on the calendar pretty much every day. Yesterday our little man had his 15 well visit check up. It went great! He was talking and high-fiving to the staff. He was not a fan of having his heart listened to but the madness was short-lived.

I hope you guys have a great weekend! This weekend is actually by birthday weekend. No big plans just hanging out with my guys. On here are some of my favorites from the week =)

Coffee Bean Face Serum

faves

Ya’ll this stuff is amazing! I’ve been using Primal Life Organics Coffee Bean Face Serum for about a year now. I recently ran out and when I received the new bottle I could tell almost immediately it was improving my face again. Caffeine is a great anti-aging! It is also great for dark circles and really smoothes out my skin tone.

Cold Brew Coffee Pods

cold

I feel like such a phony! I’ve also been #teamhotcoffee over here and not I am being a trader. I am still all for my first cup of coffee being hot in the mornings. If I would that cup that in the mid-morning or early afternoon I’ve been going for the cold brew though. I am really blaming this on the crazy high temperatures we are having here.

Swimming Fun

baby

Speaking of crazy high temperatures the pool has been such a relief! I am not one to say ‘it is too hot to go outside’ but lately I’ve been telling my poor 15-month old that. We have been trying to get out first thing in the morning or wait until the late afternoon. The pool has been great to get out and get some energy out while not melting. I also think it is super important for little ones to get used to the water. Mason has been such a big boy about getting his face wet and putting his face in the water.

Ladies Group

Moving all the time can get very lonely. Recently a friend of mine invited me to join a study with them and I have truly enjoyed the fellowship. We are completing the Uninvited study and it has been amazing to learn and grow with a beautiful group of ladies!

theSkimm

new

If you have not signed up for theSkimm email list you really should. It is a newsletter that provides the highlights from the top news. So basically it gives you the quick rundown. I also find it very unbiased.

Around the Web

Great body weight workouts when you are short on time.

Free shipping with the Hope Project for 2 days only. I love this company and have orders many gifts from them. Plus their mission is amazing! I love to shop with companies that give back!

What the what is in mac and cheese?

These are my favorite workouts!

The real reasons to workout are not about looks!

Question: It is crazy hot where you are? Do you watch the news? Any fun plans this weekend?

XOXO

P.S. I am a celebrating my birthday with a giveaway on my Facebook page!

I’ve heard great things about the book Uninvited. I’ll have to add it to my to-read list. Thanks for the suggestion!

I read Uninvited this past spring and it’s so good! I’m recommending this study to my small group when we start up again in the fall!

So crazy hot here. Yesterday afternoon felt like a sauna. We’re definitely heading to the pool this weekend!
