Friday Faves

Happy Friday Friends! I am doing a happy dance already! DC has been away for the week and we get to go pick him up this afternoon. On a different note, I mentioned the dentist yesterday. Well, we arrived and it turned out to be a big group of us in a room. The dentist briefed us about how to care for our kid’s teeth. The dude said no more than two snacks a day and to stay away for dried fruit and cereal type snacks. I wanted to ask him if he had a child! I mean Mason has two snacks some mornings before lunch. After the brief, each child went to the back and had there teeth cleaned. Mason was cool tell I had to lay in in the dentist’s lap. He started getting upset and then when the assistant said to hold his arms the poor guys started full on crying. Luckily he wasn’t fighting us just lots of crying. So the dentist quickly did a cleaning and treatment. I cannot blame the little man. Maybe next time will go better.

So what plans do you guys have this weekend? We have a Trunk or Treat on Saturday. I am pretty excited about it. I hope Mason really loves his little costume. You might have seen it on Insta. He is going as a lion and he kept roaring. It was the cutest!

Now on to the Friday Faves for the week…..

Gifts From Our Neighbors

One of our sweet neighbors brought us over this homemade pumpkin spice cream and pumpkin bread! Y’all it is amazing and the sweetest thing! She even made the pumpkin puree herself with her Instant Pot!

Friday Faves

I am SO excited about Christmas this year! For many reasons. Christmas is my favorite holiday, this will be our first Christmas together as a family of 3 (DC was away throughout the holidays last year), and Mason will be old enough to start really getting it. I know it is a bit early but first I LOVE Christmas so much! Did I say I love Christmas? Secondly, shipping takes weeks to get here so I need to time return if it is the wrong size. We are also thinking about ordering this one. They are only little once right?!

All Things Pumpkin

This past week I’ve really been enjoying the pumpkin treats. I’ve been dreaming about this pumpkin ice-cream ever since Saturday!

Then this yumminess! While we have established I love Christmas, I think I would have to vote for the fall and Thanksgiving food as being my favorite.

I am making a version of these for the Truck or Treat.

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness month. This is a beautiful article! Thoughts and prayers for all the family that has had to experience this.

This workout was much more challenging than I thought. Loved it!

My favorite!

Question: What is your favorite holiday? Which holiday has the best food? Have you started shopping for Christmas yet? What is a fave for you this week?

Have a great weekend!

XOXO

Two snacks a day for a toddler?! Does that dentist never snack? I’m pretty sure I sometimes eat more than two snacks if I’m particularly hungry one day.
Those overalls are so cute! It’s not too early for Christmas, I already bought some gifts for people.

That dentist sounds annoying. Christmas is defintiely my favorite holiday! I haven’t started shopping exactly, but I’ve definitely started adding things to my Amazon cart 🙂

It doesn’t sound like that dentist is very familiar with toddler eating habits. I am a planner and have already started Christmas shopping. I love picking gifts out.

Yay for all things pumpkin and Christmas! It’s never to early to start thinking about and celebrating Christmas, in my opinion 🙂
