Happy Friday ya’ll! What are the plans this weekend? Since DC has been working 12 hour days all week, we are going to keep it low-key for sure. There will be some trick or treating on Saturday and we are cooking for the singles at the church on Sunday. We are also getting Mason his first haircut. I am going to miss those little mullet curls so much, but it is time. He was called a girl a couple of times last week and with his mom and dad’s southern accent he really doesn’t need to be running around with a mullet. Just keeping it real! Any who…..as in Friday fashion here are my Friday Faves!

Vital Proteins has coffee creamers now! I am wanting to try the Gingerbread and Vanilla first! Of course, I will be adding these to my coffee but they can also be used teas, baked goods, and desserts. The creamers are Whole30-approved and free of dairy, artificial flavors, added sugars, and carrageenan. Here are some more statues from there website:
- Boost Energy: Our Collagen Creamers are rich in energy-boosting MCTs, a type of healthy fat found in coconut milk.
- Add Protein: Our creamers boast 10 grams of clean collagen protein from grass-fed, pasture-raised bovine.
- Support Connective Tissues: As the most abundant protein in the body, collagen is responsible for the maintenance of healthy hair, skin, nails, bones, and joints.
- 100% Clean: Our Whole30-approved Collagen Creamers are made with only real-food ingredients and are free of artificial sweeteners, refined sugars, dairy, and gluten.
I used to really love doing these workouts but somewhere along the way kind of just forgot about them. Now that the weather is getting cooler, I’ve had to workout indoors more and these workouts have been perfect for completing during nap time. I normally prefer using weights when I exercise so I was afraid they would not be channeling enough. Wellll…..let’s just say after completing a few I have had to take a huge humble pill. This is for sure going back in my routine.
Family Christmas Pajamas
I know I am probably killing ya’ll with the Christmas stuff already. In my defense, this is our first Christmas together as a family of three. I am that girl who always dreamed of being a mother. Well, due to my husband’s job, my schooling and career we decided to wait a few years better having kids. Then it took us a little while to get pregnant. Then (last then I promise), last year my husband was away on duty during the holidays. So last year, while I am still so so blessed, it was just me and the little guy in Japan alone for Christmas. For these reasons, I am EXTRA excited about the holidays this year and pray nothing crazy happens so we can enjoy them!
So back to the dreaming when I was a little girl…..Part of that dream is the cheesy memories of baking cookies, going to see lights while drinking hot chocolate, and wearing matching Christmas pajamas every year on Thanksgiving and Christmas eve night! I danced with giddy excitement when we received these in the mail. I might have even put them on for a few minutes…..to test them out of course.
Japanese has the best winter food! While I do not understand eating all the ramen and curry when it is 100+ degrees outside, I absolutely love it during these cooler days. We had our first ramen of the season Monday and it was even better than I had remembered!
