Friday Faves

Hey Friends and Happy FriYAY! Any big plans for the weekend? I am going to a tea garden with our church ladies tomorrow. I am excited about it. The house and garden look beautiful and Victorian style. Which is way different than any other buildings in Japan, so I am loving it! Japan is beautiful but much more concert in the area we live in than I am used to.

As with our usually here are some of my favorites for the week:

Vitacost:vitacost

I know everyone is all in love with Thrive Market. That is great and all but they do not ship to my location. It is a bummer. Vitacost though does! I’ve been using them for 4 years and LOVE them! They package everything so neat and properly wrapped. They have the best customer service. Plus their prices are usually cheaper than other websites.

Drew Dudley’s Leadership TedTalk:
This is an awesome video. We have a huge impact on others whether we want to take responsibility for it or not. We can use this power for bitterness or kindness. What is your lollipop moment?
Dark Chocolate:
dark butter chocolate
I ordered this from Vitacost and it was amazing! I say ‘was’ because it did not last long =)
Protein Bites:
protein ball
I made these little chocolate protein bites this week and they were amazing. I used chocolate protein powder, dates, coconut oil, and cacao nibs. I’ll be sharing this recipe soon on the blog.
SAHM:
watching a movie
One day I’ll post more about why I choice to be a stay at home mom but I am loving spending my days with this little guy! We were at the USO watching a movie (he lasted about 5 minutes) in this picture.
Skincare:

This sunscreen is perfect for a non-greasy everyday wear. I also use it on Mason. The Dew Tint and Concealer pin are perfect for a light summer coverage with sunscreen. Bonus they do not contain a bunch of crazy chemicals!
Question: What are your favorites from the week? Dark chocolate or milk chocolate?
Have a great weekend!
XOXO

I’m a little nervous about being a stay at home mom soon, but I know there are so many great perks! You can’t gain those precious years back, so soak them up.

I’m odd and a fan of dark and white chocolate. Opposite sides of the spectrum and, yeah, white chocolate isn’t “chocolate”…but different moods call for different flavors!

Caring for our family is the best and most important job we have! I just want to raise him to love and respect.

That is two different spectrums….one almost bitter and one super sweet. I get it! Have a great weekend!

YAS to dark chocolate. That same company makes a great take on a Crunch bar, but with quinoa and dark chocolate. You must try!
