Friday Faves- August already?

Y’all it’s FriYAY! It is also the first Friday in August. How did that happen? It seems like I was just complaining about the cold weather. This summer has truly flown by but it all the good ways! I am in awe of our blessed I am. Not that our little family is perfect. We are far from it but I just get overwhelmed at with how I am so much more blessed than I deserve. It is the little things like us sitting on the floor laughing at Mason begging for more ice cream. <—-he got it from his momma! Anyway, I am way too emotional this week. I hope you all have a great Friday and weekend! As per usual here are some of my favorites from the week! I look forward to hearing yours! =)

Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker

fave

I ordered this ice cream maker on Amazon Prime day. I was pumped when it arrived only for the first one to have an issue. It would not turn smooth and got stuck a few times. It could have been us I guess, but I did not want to chance it. So, we returned it and they shipped us a new one. I was so excited to make some hippie frozen treats without all the yucky additives, thickeners, and stabilizers. First, up was a frozen yogurt. I used this recipe and it was amazing! I cannot wait to make so many more treats! I have shared some on Instagram and I will share more here as I learn.

Just Because Flowers

faves

I shared this on Instagram Thursday. I was having a bit of a crummy day. I try to stay a positive person but I found myself a bit emotional, and my anxiety was really getting to me. I did not really tell him this just a short text and the phone call I received and I was fine just was looking forward to a big hug when he got home. Well, he beat us home and I got a hug and these pretty flowers. After 8 years of marriage, I love him more every day!

Pancakes

faves

I’ve been trying to add more carbs to my diet as I talked about in this post. So, of course, that means pancakes! (with a little food stalker) I have been loving these pancakes because they are pretty clean and super easy to make! This is also where I like powder nut butter because you can make it all running. Plus this one has a touch of maple flavoring and is o so yummy! The only thing missing was chocolate chips!

Random

japan

Japan pretty much has the most random things! They had this #dolladollabill toilet paper at the local store and I mean I had too! Don’t judge me! =)

Around The Web

Great tips when trying to find time to breathe a bit!

I am jumping on the pumpkin train early with these!

Grace but not excuses <3

5 minute cinnamon rolls….what?

Check out this KB workout!

That’s all besides these sweet smiles with overalls =)

I was just telling my mom yesterday that I think I’ve used our ice cream maker like once, and we love ice cream! I really need to break it out again, that frozen yogurt recipe sounds good!

You should! My little one loved it and I did not feel like ‘ummmm should he really be having this’! It was so so easy! I cannot wait to get more creative with it.

That toilet paper is so random! I wonder why they printed designs on it, haha
I usually choose sweet breakfasts, but once in awhile I like eggs 🙂

Ah I want an ice cream maker! My dad has one and makes this delicious lavender ice cream, no idea how he makes it, though…
I usually prefer sweet breakfasts! Also I don’t crave sugar as much later in the day if I have it right away 🙂
Hope you have a lovely Friday!

I usually go with sweeter breakfasts (and I love pancakes), but every now and then it’s nice to switch things up with a breakfast sandwich or burrito.

I was only a sweet breakfast eater until I became pregnant and now 2 years later I still love greens at breakfast.

You should totally get it! It makes ‘healthy’ treats 😉 So it is like a health purchase =)
