Friday Faves and Happy Veteran’s Day!

Hey Lovely! Happy Friday and Happy Veteran’s Day to all the Veterans out there! First things first, I want to say a huge Thank You to all the veterans and their family members! It is because of you past, present, and future veterans that we can enjoy the freedoms of life that we do. It is far too easy to take for granted how blessed we are. Speaking of blessed, D gets a half day off today, so we are going to enjoy a cookout tonight with our neighbors. The rest of the weekend is going to be somewhat low-key family time. We don’t have a lot of plans, so we will just see what happens. As our usual here are some of my Friday Faves…..

Meeting The President

This will defiantly go down as one of the coolest days ever! No matter your political view, it’s pretty awesome that our President stopped here and we got to meet him. I keep hearing stories of people talking with them and they are all so positive. I love our they took what little time they had and met with they families. They did not hang out with the Generals or leadership as much as they spoke with the families. Pretty cool!

Also, pretty cool that he picked at Mason and told me ‘good job mom’.

ALLCAMP Diaper Bag

We didn’t really love any of our first diaper bags. We had things about each that we liked but just did not really love. The bag pack style is our favorite but our certain one had no pockets and the cup pockets were so shallow that Mason’s drink fell out a lot. When I started the search for a new one, all the one I liked were $150+. I thought there just had to be a cheaper way. Then I found this ALLCAMP Diaper Bag. I was not a fan of the pattern at first but it has grown on me. Partly because I LOVE it! It has so much room, a ton of pockets, and they are deep! Plus is opens out to make getting times so much easier! To top it off the side holds wipes! It is amazing how much getting a wipe super fast can make a momma’s heart happy!

Ugly Christmas Dress

Friday Fave

You might have seen this post on my Instagram this past week. I ran across these dresses and now I want them all!!!! I just cannot decide! The black one is my favorite, but it is almost not ugly enough! I seriously cannot wait to go get groceries and spread the Christmas cheer in one of these numbers!

Paleo Pumpkin Sweet Potato Custard

I found this recipe on Stupid Easy Paleo and I LOVE it! I made a big patch of us and our neighbors. It did not last two days in our house and a full day in there’s. I did add a bit of Stevia that it did not call for because it was not sweet. Still, with the Stevia it is not real sweet but all kinds of delicious!

These types of concerns are just one of the many reasons I switched my skincare.

Shop One, Share One

This is thought to be way ‘too normal’. I know!

Great facts to know.

Due to our water quality this has been so helpful!

Have a blessed weekend!

I agree, I think meeting the President and talking with him and the First Lady a bit is so cool! Regardless of your political views, you had such a cool experience with that. Those dresses are great! The black one is almost cute since it’s not too in your face Christmas.

    Happy Veterans Day!

Happy Veteran’s Day to you and your family! My dad was in the military so this day always holds a special place in my heart.
I love that diaper bag! I don’t need one at the moment, but I love how stylish this one is.
And the idea of an ugly Christmas dress is hilarious! Enjoy your holiday weekend 🙂
