Friday Faves- Rest Week

Happy FriYAY!!!! Sorry for the no-show yesterday. I honestly just was not feeling it. This week I’ve had a week break from grad school, so it has been so nice to just kind of unplug a bit before starting back with two classes next week. I have also really been working hard on business lately, so I somewhat took a break from that this week. D was already away on a trip at the beginning of the week, so I was running solo for a few days. Another than that I also feel like this week is the calm before the holiday storm! 😉 Don’t get me wrong I LOVE the holidays, but it can get a bit too busy at times to enjoy. As for the weekend, I have a girls craft day Saturday and lots of church activities Sunday. Then if D can get away from work we are going to travel a bit Monday and Tuesday we hope! Yay!!!! That is about it for now so, on to my Friday Faves!

Bombas Socks

serve others

So I know I talked about these Wednesday, but I am wearing them as I type this and falling more in love! Bombas is a great company and these socks are great stocking stuffers. This company supports the homeless by its one pair purchased = one pair donated. How cool is that?

Great Read

faves

So since I have been unplugging a bit this week I have had more time to relax with a great read. This book was perfect. It has the best humor and I can totally relate to her life. Plus while it is lighthearted, she also talks about deep feelings I think all of us women can relate to.

Kind Mail Surprisefriday faves

D received the sweetest package in the mail! It was perfect timing too, as he just returned from a short trip. It is the thoughtful things that mean the most!

More Nut Butter Love

Y’all this spread is amazing! I mean nut butter plus coffee! What can be better?! I’ll tell you what is even better (unless you already saw it on my Insta stories, then you can skip ahead), This spread on an apple with dark chocolate chips! OMG! So yummy! I have had it every morning since I got this. Warning it is addictive! Do it anyway though! 😉

Fingers crossed your travel plans work out. My babies birthday was yesterday, so that was a definite favorite. Hope you have a great weekend.

How sweet of that elementary school to send packages to soldiers! I remember doing that when I was younger but wondered what the soldiers thought of it.

A great book I read recently was called “The Reason You’re Alive” by Matthew Quick. I honestly laughed out loud at it. I will say though that it is not politically correct since the narrator is a Vietnam ware vet. so if that would other you I wouldn’t read it.

I never would have guessed a book called “The Reason You’re Alive” would be funny. Now I am intrigued. Thanks 😉

That nut butter spread sounds amazing! And I remember sending letters to soliders in elementary school, I think the students do it at the school I work at as well for Veterans Day. So cute! Have a great weekend! 🙂

It’s a must spread! Promise! At least once. I love having one random new nut butter in the cabinet all the time.
