Friday Faves- from the sleepy house!

Happy FriYAY friends! Wow, what a week?! How has yours been? We have had a sleepy one. Little man is teething and has a mild virus. Wednesday and Thursday night were both rough. We found ourselves with Mason outside at 10 p.m. walking around because we could not get him to stop crying. I have never seen him like that. If anyone has any natural teething remedies bring them on! Other than there has just been a lot of homework going on. It will probably be the same for the weekend as well. I don’t want Mason spreading the virus love so we will probably be in the house. As per our usual here are a few of my Friday Faves this week.

Random Acts of Kindness

At our commissary, people volunteer their own time to cut coupons and place them on items around the store. It is just a selfish act of kindness! It makes my heart smile!

Castor Oil

I see all these eyelash lengthening products and I’ve wanted to try them. When I read the ingredients and lists of possible side effects and I am like….ummmm I like my eyes the way they are. So I become to research some safer alternatives and found this castor oil. I’ve been using it along with my lengthening mascara for a few weeks now and I can really see a difference in the thickness of my lashes.

Kate Spade Earrings

You might have seen me talking about these earrings in this post. I love this so much they had to make the Friday Faves list as well. These Kate Spade Earrings literally go with everything and they are so fun!

Sweet Toddler Hugs

This was us at the doctor’s office Friday to make sure that little man’s rough nights were not related to an ear infection or anything else.

Then at the grocery store, he kept reaching to give me hugs and kisses! I tell you that little boy can melt my heart! All the sleepless nights are forgotten when he gives me a big hug and kiss! I think of the day he will be too cool to kiss him momma and it makes me so thankful for this time now with him. I pray he always loves hard!

So I don’t have any children yet but I’ve heard frozen celery sticks are really good for teething! I guess because they are cold and the strings help cut up the gums to make it easier for teeth to pop through.
I need to get on the castor oil train! I’ve heard it has a TON of benefits! And so many uses…I need to pick some up ASAP. Have a great weekend 🙂
