Friday Faves and Traveling Back

Happy Friday Friends! I love Fridays and Friday Faves! As you are reading this I am probably somewhere over the Pacific Ocean heading back to our home in Japan. Hopefully, we are having a safe flight and little Mason is being an angel travel buddy and we are getting at least some sleep during the flight. Flying 14+ hours is tough for adults, so I do feel for little man flying for such a long flight. We had a wonderful time with family and friend. My heart and spirit are re-energized for sure! It’s the little things like hugs and inside jokes, you miss so much being away from them all. Hopefully, in a couple of years, we will be back close to family (which at this point just means the lower 48). As per our usual here has been some faves lately…..

Cousins

labor day

I loved seeing all of Mason’s cousins and him play! I wish so much they could play together more often. I know Mason is getting to see the world and experience things that any children will ever get to, but I also wish he could experience more family time as well. Maybe he will in seven more years…..

Halo Top

friday fave

I know this is a duplicate but I added a new flavor….cookie dough! I have officially eaten FIVE pints of Halo Top ice-cream in the three weeks were we in the States. No shame in my ice cream game! I am telling our local base they need to start carrying this stuff! It is amazing! I miss all the American grocery stores!

Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar Drink

I discovered this drink at our local Kroger and fell in love! It is the perfect mix of sweet, tangy, and cinnamon. I will be attempting to recreate this at home all fall!

Synergy Organic and Raw Kombucha Trilogy

I ran also this Kombucha at Walmart. I was actually looking for iced coffee but did not want to back track the aisles. When I saw this I knew it was a must try. It was amazing! Defiantly a bit prices though. I miss these little types of treat living overseas. We only have the samples at our American grocery store and while the Japanese stores are great the language barrier can be tough.

Question: What is your favorite ice cream? Any fall drinks I must try? What are your Friday faves?

XOXO

I love Halo Top! None of our local grocery stores sell it, so when we go shopping in the larger stores I always make sure to stock up! Can’t stop, won’t stop!
I’ve tried that Kombucha too and love it! It’s very expensive though so I don’t buy it very often.
    Safe travels!
