Labor Day Wrap Up- Plus This Is Real Life
Hello friends! Happy Hump Day to ya! How has your week been? I hope your Labor Day was a good one. We had a great day with friends and family. Now, we are packing up and getting ready to start our journey back to Japan. Packing is bad but the ‘see ya laters’ are the worst! I am ready to get back to our house, bed, food, and I really miss my fur babies! I am already missing everyone though, and we have not even left yet! On a happier note, I am going to share our Labor Day fun with ya =)
I woke up to this happy dude! He was ready to eat as soon as he got up. If you missed him bringing me to high chair you should check it out on Instagram! It was too funny! He ate all the breakfast you see then talked him cousins into giving him a banana about an hour later. That brings me to this shirt below (also on Instagram)!
After breakfast, we rode to my BFF’s (yes we still say BFF because we are cool like that) house. Mason fussed some on the way but I did not think too much about it, just figured he was tired of going all the time. When arriving and as soon as I get him out of the car he throws up the banana on me. So I walk in my friend’s front door with throw up all in my hair, shirt, and feet. Mason has a little on his shirt as well. Like a good friend, she laughs first then goes and gets me a couple of wash cloths. Bonus she had this shirt to give me that she had bought me years ago! Winning!
(Just in case you didn’t know and aren’t getting it my husband’s name is D.C.)
Love these beautiful girls! They are actually twins even though they do not look like it.
We had the best trip and all played hard. After a couple of hours, we left to eat lunch some family. Then DC took Mason back for a nap while I picked up a few grocery items for our trip back.
I seriously love going to the grocery store while we are in the States! It is one thing I miss so much!
Once Mason was up we headed to my family’s Labor Day cookout to eat all the yummy food and shoot skeet. I am was out of practice!
These two are going to miss each other and I am going to miss him!
We had a great time even though my shooting was terrible! I feel so bless to have a family of aunts, uncles, and cousins that still get together with their parents. It is what I pray for my family one day.
Question: What did you do for Labor Day? Do you enjoy grocery shopping? Can you shoot a gun?
Have a great day!
