never miss a monday…..
Hey, Friends! Happy Monday! I hope your weekend was full of fun and family time. The weather here was amazing. We took full advantage of it too.
Saturday we started our day off early with cooking and cleaning. We had friends coming over for lunch and knew the rest of the day would be spent with them. They were moving and flying out that afternoon so we wanted to give them a good home cooked meal before they got on the long 18+ hour flight. I failed to take pictures because we were just enjoying the quality time together. She has truly been a blessing during this past tough year.
We did what anyone would do and went out for ice cream therapy after leaving the airport. We shared a scoop of the Okinawa Cookie ice-cream and it was amazing!
We finished up the day gardening and resetting tomato plants. Our type of fun!
We started off with carrot muffins, yogurt, and a tangerine. The boy can eat!
I made the muffins I posted about Friday.
I made an acai bowl. (Failed to take a picture) The recipe soon to come. It was delicious and surprisingly filling.
Then it was off to church.
The afternoon was relaxing playing in the yard and doing a little meal prepping. I am also hosting a Beautycounter social this weekend so I got to talk to some lovely ladies. I love the products and the mission, so I was totally dorking out!
I was the worst about taking pictures this weekend but it was nice to disconnect.
Now ready for workout motivation?
Never miss a Monday!
If you are looking for a little workout motivation here is one I did last week during lunch.
I am not a runner but it does feel good to have a sweaty run at least once a week.
Totally stretching in front of the fan like a weirdo. Don’t judge! It was so hot and I had to go back to work.
Hope you guys have a great Monday and get that workout in!
Question: Do you like to disconnect? How often? What is your favorite ice cream? What is your favorite cardio?
