A New Twist on Chocolate Bark
Hello Friend! My name is Bethany and I have a
bit of a huge sweet tooth! Okay not that huge but I LOVE dark chocolate! I do not like overly sweet treats but I have at least one ‘treat’ (or what I call normal food) a day. It is especially needed on days like today when it took us 45 minutes of crying and refusing to get Mason to put his toys up. He cried and I hugged him and cried with him. Gosh, I just wanted to pick the four toys up for his, but I knew, in the long run, it would be doing no one any favors. He is normally a chill kid but man when he wants to test the waters he is one stubborn boy. All I know to do is love on him while not caving in. Soooo….this brings me to chocolate! Man did I need chocolate and coffee when he went down for a nap!
This chocolate bark is not your average. It has a bit of an unexpected twist on it. Instead of your traditional homemade chocolate bark with only coconut oil, I also had ghee. It gives it a buttery taste without overtaking the chocolate. Plus it also makes a softer bark than straight coconut oil bark. Give it a try.
