A Trip To Buffalo Park and Zoo
Hey Friends! How are ya? I hope everyone is safe! So many prayers for our nation right now! Here we still dealing with jet lag. It looks like it is going to take us a week to recover from the 14 hr time difference. We are just blessed we get to deal with it because it means that we got to go home to see our friends and family! Today I am going to rewind a bit to our trip and share with you one of the places that we took Mason. We visited in Buffalo Park and Zoo and were really impressed! It was the perfect size, laid down so well, clean, friendly staff, and the animals were amazing! Plus we got to feed them! So fun! So here is a little sneak of our visit.
This place was laid down so well. Right after you paid you literally walked right out into the park. It started off with snakes and reptiles then out to the bigger animals.
Here we got to feed the deer first.
Mason was a trumpet!
What a friendly camel this one was. All I could think was please don’t spit on me. They really will right?
Check out this Zedonk. It is a cross between a zebra and a donkey. I have seriously never heard of such!
Mason really loved the deer!
He was roaring like the loins!
After we saw all of the animals we got to ride out to the fields. We also had a guide give us a tour during the ride. He told us all about the animals and how they care for them. It is amazing our old many of the animals were (30ish years).
This horse was like 30 hands I believe. I mean HUGE!
Any Texan fans?
This water buffalo was super old and was put out alone because of its age.
After the tour was over we visited the same little play ground before heading out. It was a great trip and such a fun time for Mason! This age of adventure is seriously so much fun! I just love seeing him taking it all in!
