Weekend Camera Roll!
Hey Friends and Happy Monday to ya! I hope you all had the weekend that you wanted whether it was relaxing or jam-packed. We had a great weekend and for once I took a ton of pictures. We even went out into the city. So today is going to be a camera roll weekend edition. Less chatty and more pictures. So here we go…..
I went to the gym and post office Saturday morning and Mason’s costume was in! Of course, I had to put it right on him. He cried about two seconds. I am not sure if it was for the Larabar or because of the costume. I am guessing a bit of both. If you saw on my Instagram, he quickly was laughing and making all the roaring noises.
After nap time we headed into the city. Love this guy! How weird does his phone look there?
We arrived at the train station with about 20 minutes till our connecting train so we played and took a ton of pictures. I mean that is the cutest outfit right?!
I just love this little guy!
They are the best!
My momma heart cannot take it!
My heart in a picture!
Soon after this, we ended to catch the train. When we arrived we couldn’t find the restaurant. Google maps failed us. We asked around but the Greek restaurant we were trying to find was like a ghost. So we got back on the train to the main station to go to the backup restaurant. Wellll……when we finally walked to the restaurant, it was closed for a private party! By this time we were hangry, laughing, and starving! So we picked the first place we came to that looked pretty good.
I was so hungry I forgot to take a pre eaten picture! lol
Our greeter at the restaurant.
Then of course dessert! I mean we walked a lot!!!
Baskin Robbins Halloween Sundae! The CUTEST right! I have one scoop caramel and one scoop pumpkin that tasted JUST like pumpkin pie! I will be going again this month!
Then we went to Wendy’s for DC a frosty…..but the Wendy’s here in Japan did not have them so a Coke float it was.
Wendy’s did have these soup break bowls though!
By this time is was way past Mason’s bedtime and we had a train to caught.
I really didn’t take pictures on Monday (you got an overload of Saturday anyway). We went to church and relaxed at home then church again that night.
Sunday morning we walked to the 7/11 to get orange juice because DC requested orange chicken for lunch. I picked up a bean paste cookie for Mason. It was his first and he approved.
I paired it with cauliflower rice and veggies. It was amazing. I went off of this recipe.
Question: Have you been to ‘American’ restaurants in a foreign country? If so how did it compare? Do you like the train or would you rather drive? Favorite seasonal treat?
