Weekend Wrap Up, Random Stuff, and I Need Advice

Happy Monday Friends! I hope you are off to a get week! We are hoping to have a more normal routine this week that includes a better meal plan and more workouts. This weekend we were busy with cookouts and birthday parties. Actually, we were so busy kind failed on taking many pictures.

Before we get to the weekend I wanted to share this video that I ran across…..

This lady was stranded at the airport but instead of being mad all night she decided to through a Dance Party! I love it so much!

Started off with this guy in full force. DC had to go into work super early, so we had the morning to ourselves. It was a blur of cooking, cleaning, and playing outside before Mason’s nap.

After his (amazing) nap we were off to birthday party #1. I didn’t get any good pictures because I was seriously that helicopter mom! They had a little playpen that the kiddos were being crazy in! I was constantly moving Mason away from the big kids. Super glad I did because one little did get a knot on her head from them jumping on her.

Friday night our friends came over to hang out with us. We had chili, soup, and finished it all up with smores. It was great to chill and hang out with friends. Mason was all about the crackers.

It was our usual breakfast, play, church routine but with football added in! Due to the timezone difference, we have Sunday morning football instead of Saturday night football.

After church Mason went straight down for a nap. It was weird eating lunch without him. DC thought he was cool finding this ‘ghost’ chip.

birthday weekend

After a couple hours napping we woke Mason up to go to birthday party #2. He absolutely loved the blow slide!

After the party, DC was craving chili’s for supper and Sunday marked 14 years of service for him so we decided it was a must. We even topped it off with cheesecake!

Some little hands loved the cheesecake and somehow ended up with all the forks.

After dinner, it was home to get baths and put Mason to bed. It was overall a great and pretty busy weekend.

October with Beautycounter!!!!!

I absolutely love being apart of this team! I personally have loved ones very close to me that are breast cancer survivors, so this is very near and dear to my heart!

Let’s all get together and help put a stop to breast cancer. This month, Beautycounter is partnering with Breast Cancer Prevention Partners and Keep A Breast to share important info on breast cancer prevention. Join
me throughout the month to experience Beautycounter’s safer beauty line and find out more about this amazing partnership!

Feel free to send me a private message for more details.

Additionally, I will be donating a portion of all profits this month to our two partner organizations.

Last Thing…..

I need advice on a new diaper bag. I have not had one since Mason was born that I have really liked. I like the more backpack style and do not want to pay crazy amounts for one. Any ideas?

The video was cute! I don’t know if I would be able to be positive if I was stuck in an airport all night long. It sounds like you had a really nice weekend.
I switched from a normal moisturizer to rosehip seed oil on my face and it’s helped with some acne (I think). At the very least it doesn’t make my face feel greasy and it lasts forever! I’ve had my current bottle of it for months and am barely halfway through.

Rose hip oil in great. I used to add it to my moisture in the winter months when I needed extra moisture.

Looks like a nice weekend! I will frequently use coconut oil as a moisturizer, it works great!

I like coconut oil to remove eye makeup.
