What’s Up Wednesday

Hey ya’ll! Today I am linking up for a What’s Up Wednesday post….spoiler alert our bonus question is  “What’s your favorite Thanksgiving side dish?”. Please play along and let me know what is up in your life! Have a great day!

1. What Are We Eating:

Friday Fave

What's Up Wednesday

Ramen! Growing up when money was tight we would get the .10 cent Ramen, add a bit of chicken and BOOM dinner. So when I moved to Japan and everyone raved about the Ramen I had my doubt. Ya’ll Japanese Ramen is so good. I can never finish all the noodles but I always finish all the broth. It seriously warms my heart as the weather is getting cold.

Mason was also a fan!

2. What I’m Reminiscing About:

I keep seeing all these old pictures on my Timehop from last year and while I love having a toddler I realize how fast time really is going by. O be still my heart!

3. What I’m Loving:

The Beautycounter 2017 Holiday Collection. There is also an awesome Gift Under $50 section. Many of these come in a set of three that can even be given out as singles. Perfect for co-workers, friends, and stocking stuffers. I have seriously ordered too much already but I am afraid it will all sell out. If you’d like to know more about safer skin care check out my beauty heading.

4. What I’m Dreading:

Shocker here but it is……Grad school……always grad school! I am scheduled to double up next term and seriously thinking about chickening out on that!

5. What I’m Excited About:

Truck or Treat

Taking this little guy trick or treating for the first time! DC is going to dress up as a scarecrow and I am going to be Dorothy.

6. What I’m Listening too:

All the podcast!

This one and this one have been my favorite lately. What are some I need to add to my list?

7: What I’m watching/reading:

This book had been keeping me up past my bedtime at night. It seriously makes me laugh out loud and then DC looks at me like I am crazy.

I am still so behind but I am still catching up on episodes of The Fixer Upper. I am totally boomed that it is over right when I started watching it.

8. What I’m Wearing:

Booties and this light sweater on repeat!

The trade-off for the cool weather is how much I love sweaters, booties, and scarves.

9. Bonus: Favorite Thanksgiving Side Dish:

This was a hard one but sweet potato casserole won!

Question: Pick 3 and share What’s Up with you!

Mason looks so much like you! I never noticed it until now. What I’m wearing – booties! They always make an outfit feel slightly dressier. What I’m eating – currently have a bowl of oatmeal. What I’m looking forward to – my long weekend trip to Knoxville, Tennessee! I can’t wait to go and eat and drink too much. But that’s vacation right?

Dressing was always hard for me to make until I started making it in the crockpot. Now I have to say it is yummy!
