WIAW- At Home Edition

Hey Friends! I hope your week is going well. This week has flown by. Today We were busy running from appointment to appointment. We had to go to the doctor to pick up some medicines and Mason needed a vaccine. Then we had passport photo and renewal appointment. Bonus it was pouring down rain the whole time! On the plus side, it all got done and DC got home early so I got a little gym time in.

Today I am going to share with you a WIAW. We are still on our 30 Day Reset and I ate all my meals at home. Overall I felt they were pretty balanced and I got in lots of veggies. One thing I noticed different about today is it was my highest carb day (at 65g) since we have been on the reset. I felt like I needed it since I was going to be running today. So here we go….

Breakfast:

4:35: Coffee First! Old photo but same coffee

I do my quiet time, reply to emails and then start on breakfast. DC eat about 6 before he leaves but I wait a little longer and eat with Mason.

6:35: Mason is up and ready to eat.

WIAW

Two eggs over easy, veggies (plus the ones I ate while cooking), half a banana with Nuts ‘N More Powdered Peanut Butter (probably a little off the plan). Then, of course, hot sauce!

Snack:

I still needed a bit of something after breakfast, so I ate a protein ball.

9:30: While Mason was down for a nap I got a bit hungry. I snacked on these olives and goat cheese.

When Mason got up we headed to the doctor to pick up medicine and got was needing one more vaccine.

I was so proud of this little guy. He did not cry or even whine while getting his shot. Such a big boy!

Lunch

12:15: We came home to grab a quick lunch. I had sautéed cabbage with peppers and onions. Then topped with sardines. Plus a handful of grapes.

After our passports appointments and being soaked in the rain, I needed this! So I ate a square and a half. wiaw

So much rain! Seriously! I got to go to the gym though =)

Dinner

5:20: Ground chicken with liquid aminos on top of sautéed cabbage, peppers, and onions. Then I added sesame seeds and red peppers. We normally use white sticky rice as the bed but that is off limits now.

After dinner we played and headed out to look for a plum tree DC heard about. Never found it but we did find what we think it a grapefruit tree. Check out my Instagram Stories tomorrow to see what we find out.

    Yum, your breakfast looks delicious. I love bananas and any sort of nut butter. I like eggs in all forms, but my favorite is over easy, especially if I have toast to dip in the yolks.

      I totally agree with soaking up all the yolks with the bread….grains are a no go for now though. I might have to make some paleo bread =)

    Always over easy or sunny eggs. Which is funny because growing up I only ate scrambled. But not I can’t get enough of topping an egg on everything, and I mean everything, lol.

      I was the same way growing up. Now I even like boiled.

      We need some examples of this ‘everything’ you speak of =)

    I like my eggs fried with a runny yolk..but runny yolks aren’t allowed during pregnancy! 🙁 So lately I’ve been having primarily egg whites with a hard fried egg every now and then.
